The head of the Ministry of Finance said that it is difficult to assess the prospects for the economy, the number of countries – refusers of oil has not been established.

The head of the Accounts Chamber, Alexei Kudrin, at a meeting of legislators in St. Petersburg, said that Russia needs to be prepared for a “very difficult situation” that will last for one to two years.

According to him, quoted by RIA Novosti, the economic crisis will last longer than in 2009, and will be more serious than during the coronavirus pandemic.

He also pointed to a strong rise in inflation, which this year will amount to 20.7%, in 2023 – will exceed 6%.

In such a situation, the economist believes, you need to soberly assess your resources and strength, assuming that the Russian economy will experience strong differentiation in the near future.

Kudrin also explained that there is uncertainty about how the regional economy will react to the growth in the cost of products, the decline in exports and the rupture of logistics links.

“We have reached a new line,” the head of the Accounts Chamber believes.

Kudrin suggested that the economies of the Russian regions will be very differentiated in the near future due to sanctions.

However, according to him, it is not yet completely clear how the gap chains, an increase in cost, a decrease in exports will fall on the economy of our regions.

In turn, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that fuel extraction – oil and gas – from the previous volume will be reduced by 17% already this year.

The expert called the reason for the refusal of a number of European countries to purchase it.

He could not name the exact number of production declines, determining only the percentage the ratio of volumes.

“It is still difficult to assess how sales will continue”, RIA Novosti quotes the head of the Ministry of Finance.

estimates the consequences of refusal for the federal budget, but the estimate cannot be accurate, because the number of refusal countries is not really known.

“If they refuse in one place, then we will sell to others”, he believes.

< p> According to the head of the Ministry of Finance, while the refusal to pay for fuel in rubles is of particular damage. However, he believes that !volumes are declining, but prices are rising”, and the balance is maintained.

However, it is still difficult to determine the prospects, Siluanov assured.

As Topnews wrote earlier, the UN refusal of Russian fuel was called “madness”.
