The Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic should be recognized only by peaceful means, its head Vadim Krasnoselsky said in Telegram.
“How many times have I asked the question: what is preferable for people— recognition through war and bloodshed or life in a peaceful, successfully developing state, but not recognized by the world community? The answer is obvious. Transnistria must be and will be recognized— but peacefully, at the negotiating table, in dialogue,— he wrote.
Krasnoselsky noted that no one needs an armed conflict. The inhabitants of Transnistria “know what war is and appreciate peace.”
The head of the PMR, addressing foreign journalists, urged not to escalate the situation and not cause panic.
