Symbolically and correctly will hold referendums on joining the DPR, LPR and “liberated territories” to Russia; November 4 on the Day of National Unity, said the Secretary of the General Council of “United Russia” Andrey Turchak.

On September 1, citing sources, RBC wrote that the Kremlin expects to hold voting in the republics of Donbass, Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions by the end of autumn.
“That is, the gap starting from the conditional September 11 (Single Voting Day in Russia. — RBC) as a reference point and ending around November 4 & ndash; 7, — clarified one of the sources close to the presidential administration.
In the course of a special operation in Ukraine, the Russian military took control of the Kherson region and partly of Zaporozhye and Kharkov. Civil-military administrations (CAAs) were established in these territories.
The head of the Zaporizhzhya CAA, Evgeny Balitsky, said that the authorities would like to hold a referendum on joining Russia on September 11, on a single voting day. The administration of the Kherson region was in favor of holding voting in all the territories that came under its control on the same day.
At the end of July, the CAA of the Kharkov region said that they were not yet ready to discuss a referendum on joining Russia, since at that time only about 20% of the region's territory was under Russian control. Four interlocutors of RBC also said that the presidential administration considers it illogical to hold a referendum without having control over Kharkov.
